Starting up again

It feels like it has been forever since the last post. I have been kind of laying low and have not been getting much done since the passing of my fuzzy child, Cozmo. I had him for 19 years and he was a really special little guy... needless to say I miss him terribly. 

Last week was my first week back in the studio now I am playing catch-up. Just trying to not dwell on it too much and get back to these deadlines...

Once again I will be haunting the halls of the San Diego Convention Center... but this year I will be bringing something new and I will be slightly more stationary!

I am back from Paris. I want to live here:

Mmm...skeleton party. Well, I am back in Chicago and finishing the epic and perpetual move into my studio (pictures of triumph will follow when it isnt in shambles). 

So many shows coming up, like the one I am curating for Patrick Ma!

I have a slew of my own shows in the works and will give full details very soon...time to shovel fabric into bins.

Forgetful and fast paced...

I have been knee deep in a move to the new studio for about 2 weeks now. It is officially the longest move in history and I am setting some kind of record, I am sure of it. I have come to find out it is harder to move half of your stuff than all of it.

Anyway, I have also been hard at work doing custom shows...and forgetting to post pictures. 

I have been blogging blogs about shows we've showed on the A.Okay official Blog. So if you want to see what we have been doing on the gallery curation front that would be the place to see it.

Currently...

I am in The MUTT show...we opened it May 1st. It is a traveling exhibit featuring the new DIY MUTT. All the pieces can be purchased at www.mutttoy.com.

Late Night Walkies

I have been working non-stop lately...which is probably why I have succumbed to the flu everyone has been passing around (jerks). Coming up next is the A.Okay Nesting show and the Rocket World Humans Beware show. Just got to finish those up and breathe a deep sigh of relief. Oh, yes...one more picture of pieces past:

This is the piece I did for the Foolsgold show in NY. The bidder on this piece actually flaked so ole fox-face returned home to me...hopefully to head out to a different show in the near future.  Back to work trying to get better so I can actually get back to work.
